Dominick Hernandez

I am a 2024 graduate and a highly motivated honors student attending Windermere High School. I don't have major decided yet, but I will have one decided by the end of the season.

I am graduating in 2024, I am an 05' and I am 5'9 and 135 pounds. I have been playing since I was 12 and since then I have been told that I am a very technical and fast paced player. I have played many other sports such as baseball, volleyball, swimming, and gymnastics.

I play for Mid-CIty Lions Nationals under coach Mickey McNeill. I have been playing for over a year now and I have worked my way up to being captain for the team. I have a total of 1 goal and 23 assists for the team so far. We attend the biggest tournaments in the country such as Jefferson cup, Surf, Mayors Cup, Nike Blue Chip, etc. Me as a player, I have been getting new outlets from the club for college and it has really helped me in the past year. As for my background, I started playing at 12 I played for a small club in Orlando Called South Orlando and in my first year of playing I made it all the ay up to DA for Florida Rush in the 18/19 season. I then went to play for a club called FFA Knights at the U19 level at just 14 years old. While I was playing there I played with Orlando City ECNL U16 at just 14 years old as well. Before joining Mid-City I had been playing with FFA Knights until I found Mid-City. I have not won any tournaments with Mid-City so far but I have been exposed to more experiences then I have before.

Being a Captain for Mid-City has been challenging but I enjoy being the leader for the team because I believe that I bring energy with me for the team so we can perform better. I always strive to be an amazing teammate and supportive no matter the outcome of anything.
